Description
Synopsis for Sources Sought- Milt Brandt Visitor Center and Don Clausen Fish Hatchery- Warm Springs Dam/Lake Sonoma. The San Francisco District, Corps of Engineers is seeking sources to procure services to provide all labor, materials, equipment, travel, and facilities required to complete final design and construction of required building modifications, and design, fabrication, delivery and installation of a series of interpretive exhibits for the Milt Brandt Visitor Center and Don Clausen Fish Hatchery. Location: Warm Springs Dam/Lake Sonoma, Healdsburg, California, a community 70 miles north of San Francisco. The Milt Brandt Visitor Center opened in 1980, and the Congressman Don Clausen Fish Hatchery at the base of the dam opened in 1982. The hatchery was constructed to mitigate for the loss of spawning habitat for Chinook and steelhead trout; the hatchery is owned and funded by the US Army Corps of Engineers, and operated by the California Department of Fish and Game. Contractors should provide the following information: Does your firm have experience in renovating interpretive centers, nature centers or other public contact center? (Yes or No?) Does your firm have experience in integrating building construction with an interpretive design plan for exhibits? (Yes or No?) Does your firm have experience in designing, fabricating and installing interpretive and interactive exhibits? (Yes or No?) Does your firm have experience in designing and constructing mitigation for noise in confined building space? (Yes or No?) Contractors can provide one (1) sample project that best describes their experience referenced in questions 1 - 4. Important: your entire response to this sources sought should be no longer than 5 pages. That includes your cover sheet, answers to questions 1 - 4 and your sample project. On your cover sheet please include your business size and any programs you are currently registered in, your DUNNs number and primary POC.
