Description
The National Institutes of Health Acute Dialysis Program requires monthly and quarterly service on the Dialysis Reverse Osmosis System listed below: 3 ea AmeriWater MROS – Dialysis water treatment for a single patient 1ea AmeriWater MRO1 – Dialysis water treatment for 1 – 3 patients. Feed Water Sediment Filtration devices. All service and maintenance must be performed by an authorized service dealer for AmeriWater. The service dealer must provide service in zip code 20892..Due to the FDA 5 – 10k registration number all replacement parts must be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts and accessories for the AmeriWater MROS and MRO1 systems. The following outlines the level of service performed each month and/or quarterly: •Clean Reverse Osmosis (RO) membranes quarterly or more frequently as needed •Disinfect RO membranes (Monthly) •Verify conductivity monitor’s and calibrate as necessary. •Verify stroke length and frequency of antiscalant feeder and adjust as necessary. •Add PT 401 antiscalant to reservoir, leaving enough chemical to maintain between visits. •Replace portable exchange carbon tanks. (Quarterly) •Provide test strips and chemicals for maintenance. •Provide all filters for RO’s and feed water sediment filtration to last through each monthly visit. •Provide all service and repair for equipment failures All work will be performed during normal business hours of 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. All service calls will be scheduled directly with the unit director. A maintenance inspection report will be completed for each RO. All routine disposables are included in the agreement and will be delivered with each monthly visit. All repair parts and services are included on the RO equipment. The total cost of the service and maintenance will include all materials, chemicals, and travel and labor charges. Please email all quotes and questions to Deborah Culpepper, dculpepper@cc.nih.gov.
