Description
RECOVERY INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT CONTRACTNNA08CG83C. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY ISAVAILABLE ONLY TO STINGER GHAFFARIAN TECHNOLOGIES INCORPORATED (SGT) UNDER CONTRACTNNA08CG83C FOR INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT AT NASA AMES RESEARCHCENTER (ARC), MOFFETT FIELD, CA, AUTHORIZED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENTACT OF 2009. ARC intends to issue Task Order 60, titled: Dashlink Support of the TerrestrialObservation and Prediction System (TOPS). Task Order 60 is to expand the number of peoplewho can access data contained in the TOPS tool for Earth Science research. Thisimprovement will be accomplished by building a website that allows users to access theTOPS tool. The website will allow researchers, scientists and people doing ecologicalstudies to access the data and a number of software applications that can performanalysis using NASA data and models. The result of this improvement is a website thatwill provide NASA with a new way to collaboratively share knowledge and will be funded bythe Recovery Act. A contract modification will be issued to add American Recovery andReinvestment ActReporting Requirements to the contract and fully fund Task Order 60. The Intelligent Systems Research and Development Support (ISRDS) contract NNA08CG83C wasmade on a competitive basis. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. This announcement will not result in a Request for Proposal; this announcement is forinformational purposes only.
