Description

RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PRUPOSES ONLY. THE ACTION DESCRIBED HEREIN IS A MODIFICATION TO AN EXISTING CONTRACT. The 21st Contract Squadron intends to issue a modification to current contract FA2517-06-C-8001, Solid State Phased Array Radar System (SSPARS), performed by BAE Systems; 1601 Research Blvd; Rockville, MD 20850. Description: The contractor shall provide non-personal services for the following: 1) Replace approximately 525 feet of 1-1/4", 6 x 19, right regular lay, poly-fiber core wire rope on the Bldg 110 rail car puller. Wire rope shall be joined and spliced in an endless long slice over a minimum of 125 feet. 2) Properly dispose of old cable. 3) Work shall be coordinated with Power Plant Supervisor to prevent interference with coal delivery. 4) All materials and installations shall comply with Federal Railroad Administration Safety Standards, AFMAN 32-1048, UFC 4-860-03, 13 Feb 08, and all applicable local, state, federal, DOD codes and regulations for this type of work.
