Description
FOR ANY INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT: Randy Stampone, Weapons System Manager, 732-532-5631 This is a SOURCES SOUGHT MARKET SURVEY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. This market survey does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP) or a request for sealed bids (IFB), nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice, nor pay respondents for any information that they submit in response to this Sources Sought request. The United States Army CECOM LCMC is conducting this sources sought market survey to determine price and availability (P&A) from potential sources capable of fulfilling a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement as follows. This scope of work is for 12 months to provide technical consulting or field service support for the Iraq Ministry of Defense (MOD) Iraq Defense Network (IDN). The IDN is the Iraq MODs command and control voice and data network. The IDN consists of 40 sites throughout Iraq. For purposes of pricing, technical consulting will be performed on government furnished equipment. Costs should reflect the cost of performing responsibilities in the Baghdad IZ, such as life support and security. Reponses must include availability. The P&A should provide a Rough order of Magnitude (ROM) value for the following scope of work: Technical consulting/Field Service Representatives (FSR): Technical consulting/field service support for advanced CISCO and Dell technologies such as Cisco 6500 switches, MARS, Blade servers and SAN. The FSR is expected to support this effort in the Baghdad, IZ, troubleshooting and diagnosing communications network issues/concerns and troubleshoot network equipment, as required. The ROM should include all required support materials, transportation, life support, and security costs associated with this scope of work. Respond by COB 11 Dec 09 to Randy Stampone, Randy.Stampone@us.army.mil and to Kevin Kirkwood at Kevin.kirkwood@us.army.mil
