- Solicitation Number: VA-243-10-RQ-0082Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for a formal proposal. This Notice is to identify Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB) and Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) vendors who are able to provide commercial ambulette services 24 hours, 7 days per week to the NY Campus VA NY Harbor Healthcare System which includes the Manhattan VA located at 423 East 23rd St., NY, NY 10010; Brooklyn VA located at 800 Poly Place, Brooklyn, NY 11209& St. Albans Medical Facility located at 179 St. & Linden Blvd., St. Albans, NY 11425. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) must be registered in the VetBiz website at http://www.vetbizops.gov. Vendor shall furnish Wheel Chair Type Vehicles (medi-coaches). Services shall include vendor having an established facility(ies) in operation for at least one (1) year where ambulette units are housed and dispatched from a location within a thirty (30) mile radius of the VA NY Harbor installations. The Contractor shall obtain all necessary licenses and/or permits required to perform this work. The awarded contract shall cover a basic period, from date of award, plus four (4) one-year option periods which allows the Government to unilaterally extend the contract period for 12 months each. This solicitation will be issued electronically and will be accessible on the Government's website Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fedbizopps.gov). All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database if not, offerors need to register at the CCR website http://www.ccr.gov. All responses shall include identification/certification of company size status and any pertinent information pertaining to this sources sought. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This synopsis is not a solicitation announcement for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP).
