- Amendment W91ZLK10T0015 0002 is issued to provide answers to questions and to extend the closing date of the solicitation to November 25, 2009 @ 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. Please SUBMIT YOUR QUOTATIONS to Ms. Sowa at the RDECOM Contracting Center Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, 4118 Susquehanna Avenue, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-3013. Quotations may be submitted via email to: susan.sowa@us.army.mil or Fax 410-306-3726. Quotations must be signed, dated, and received by the closing date. For questions concerning this Request for Quotations contact Susan Sowa Contracting Specialist @ email susan.sowa@us.army.mil Additional questions must be received no later than November 20, 2009 @ 11:00 AM. Question 1: Would the Airbus A320 considered a fair substitute for the Boeing 737-300. Answer: No, for the specialized test requirements an A320 is not a suitable substitute. Suitable substitutes are newer versions of the Boeing 737 (737-400 to 737-800 series). Question 2: Could the cockpit window and/or others be substituted with plexiglass or must they be original manufacturer issued glass? Answer: Windows could be substituted. Question 3: Has your group purchased a fuselage in the past? Answer: For testing purposes aircraft parts have been purchased in the past.
