- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Texarkana, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQP05151000004, for the requirement of Quarterly Subsistence, Meat and Dry goods. This is 100% small business set aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 722310. Offers will be FOB destination with delivery beginning January 1, 2010. Deliveries will be made to Federal Correctional Institution 4001 Leopard Dr. Texarkana Texas 75501. The contract type will be firm-fixed price. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whos offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Past performance and price will be considered with prices being rated higher that past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about November 20, 2009 and will be posted to the General Services Opportunites website www.fbo.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed soley through this site. the anticipated date for receipt of quote is December 4, 2009. Each offeror is required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their Representations and Certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at orca.bpn.gov. Faith-based organizations and Community-based organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contract for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
