Description
REMANUFACTURE F108 CIT SENSOR, SOL FA8122-10-R-0009, PR FD2030-10-26977. Buying Office: 448 SCMG/PKBBC, TINKER AFB OK 73145-3015. For additional information contact Albert Long (405) 734-4613. A firm fixed-price Requirements Type Commercial Contract is contemplated with one basic year and 4 (four) one year options. Item 0001: NOUN Remanufacture of F108 CIT Sensor; Input/Output NSN 2915-01-139-6618PN; Input/Output P/N9178M37P02 and/or 8901-180. BEQ as follows: 12 EA Basic Year; 78 EA OPT I; 75 EA OPT II; 77 EA OPT III; 76 EA OPT IV. Applicable to the F108 Engine on the KC-135; Dest: Tinker Air Force Base, OK 73145. Item 0002: Check, Test, and Report. NSN's and P/N's the same as Item 0001. BEQ as follows: 2 EA for Basic and All Option Years. Item 0003: AFMC FORM 413 Depot Maintenance Production Report Required IAW DD Form 1423-1. Item 0004: Test Report Required IAW DD Form 1423-1. Item 0005: CAV II/CAV AF Reporting required IAW DD Form 1423-1. Description: The F108 CIT Sensor is a temperature sensor and transducer unit for the main engine control. It responds to changes in compressor inlet temperature and regulates fuel pressure as a function of inlet temperature. Delivery: Item 0001: 3 EA every 30 days ARO and receipt of reparable assets; Item 0002: 1 EA 30 days ARO; Item 0003: IAW DD Forms 1423; Item 0004: IAW DD Forms 1423; Item 0005: IAW DD Forms 1423. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Qualification requirements are available for this acquisition. The approximate solicitation issue date is 4 DEC 09 and the estimated solicitation response date will be 4 JAN 10. The anticipated award date will be 22 JAN 10. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation through FedBizOpps at http://www.eps.gov/. THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE REQUIREMENT. WOODWARD GOVERNOR (0JAU7) IS THE ONLY APPROVED SOURCE. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
