Description
Statement of Work for the 2010 Hispanic Workers Conference to be held in Houston, Texas Meeting Space and Audio Visual Equipment Requirements. Please note that there are two sheets in this document. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 – Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items – As supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under number DOL110RQ20846. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-37. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 721110 with a small business size standard of $7 million. This is an unrestricted procurement and is open to all vendors. This combined synopsis/solicitation is for the rental of conference room facilities for the 2010 Hispanic Workers Conference in Houston, Texas, for the specific dates of April 13, 2009, through April 16, 2009, in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. Vendors shall use the attached excel document to provide the price quote on Space Function Requirements and Audio Visual Equipment (Attachment I, Sheets 1 and 2). The following provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors- Commercial Items; 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; 52.212-5 (Dev) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items including subparagraphs:; 52.219-28 Post-Award Small Business Program Representation; 52.222-3, Convict Labor; 52.222-19 Child Labor Cooperation With Authorities And Remedies; 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; 52-222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; 52.222-50 ; 52.225-3 Buy American Act - Free Trade Agreements - Israeli Trade Act; 52.225-13 Restriction on Certain Foreign Purchases; 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration; 52.333-3 Protest After Award; 52.233-4 Applicable Law for Breach of Contract Claim; 52.252.2 Clauses Incorporated by Reference. In order to be considered for an award, an offeror must have completed the online electronic Representations and Certifications located at http://orca.bpn.gov/ in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a). This is a low-price technically-acceptable procurement. Award will be made on the basis of lowest price technically acceptable proposal. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award without discussion. Offeror shall submit all information with offer as required in 52.212-1.
