- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to issue solicitation RFQP06021000001 for the provision of providing Dental Assistant Services at the Federal Correctional Institution Dublin, California. The contractor must provide Dental Assistant services to patients in a correctional setting. The Dental Assistant must be a graduate of an accredited program and have the appropriate license. It is estimated the contract will include 50 weeks of Dental Assistant services @ 30 hours per week per contract year. A session will be defined as one hour. Estimated total sessions per year is 1500. The contract period shall consist of one 12-month base year and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be available on or about December 1, 2009, and will be distributed solely through the website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. The anticipated receipt of quotes is December 22, 2009. The NAICS code is 621399 with a size standard of $7,000,000. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
