Description
Continued Survey Readiness*SPECIAL NOTICE* The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 10 Dayton Contract office intends make a sole source award to Ohio Hospital Association for the purchase one year of the Continued Survey Readiness (CSR) Program. The Statutory authority for this sole source purchase is Title 10 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) as implemented in the FAR 6.302-2 (a)(2). The applicable NAICS Code is 813920 with a size standard of $7 million dollars. A Justification and Approval to procure using other than full and open competition and a 2268 are attached. The Contract Officer has determined that the OHA is the only source capable of providing the services specific to the needs of VISN 10. OHA is the only entity on the market with all of the following capabilities: Availability of Electronic Tool, user friendly, to rate compliance with all applicable Joint Commission Standards with report writing capacity; preferably with connectivity with JC PPR. 1.Electronic Tool is updated annually with JC Standards 2.Conduct onsite tracer activities based on unique needs identified in PPR 3.Available for phone cons. during normal business hours, Technical support available 4.Educational offerings onsite and at specific locations related to JC Standards (VA-Specific offerings) 5.Consultants with current working knowledge of standards and standard changes 6.Consultants have experience as JC surveyors or standard interpretation 7.Ability to conduct mock surveys tailored to needs of facility 8.Knowledge of State/Federal Regulations 9.Knowledge related to standards in HAP, BH, LTC, Home Care, Ambulatory and OTP.
