Description
The Air national Guard (ANG) is in the process of requesting capabilities packages for the air National Guard Combat Training Systems at four locations as follows. The Air National Guard (ANG) maintains four CRTCs throughout the United States, which are located in Alpena, Michigan, Gulport, Missippi, Savannah Georgia and Camp Douglas, Wisconsin (Volk Field). The mission of the ANG CRTCs as directed by the National Guard Bureau(NGB) reflects a general commonality, yet allow for differences dictated by physical limitations, geography, climates, topography and CRTC unique training capabilities. As such, each of the four CTS (residing at the aforesaid CRTCs) also share a degree of commonality yet allow for differences based on functional charcteristics and equipment peculiarities. The primary mission of each CTS is to provide an integrated, year-round, realistic training environment (airspace, facilities, equipment) for units to enhance their combat capability. Throughout the period of p[erformance associated with this contract effort, the ANG expects the contractor to proactively support via active participation in the achievemnt of the goals listed below. *Continue to upgrade existing ACMI systems to meet evolving training requirements. *Acquire the data and communication equipment and links to support Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) and Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) network centric training. *Establish complete Tactical Data link coverage of training airspace to accomadte Link-16 and Situation Awareness Data Link (SADL) sytems. * Continue to acquire and install Have Quick II and Single Chaneel Grouund and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS) capable radios. *Integrate Tactical Digital Information Link (TADIL) systems into the Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation (ACMI) infrastructure to provide Electronic Warfare (EW) training and Personal Computer Debriefing Sysytems (PCDS) merged debriefs to the units involved. *Integrate Global Positioning System (GPS) with ACMI and standardize pod configurations and provide encryption capabilities. *Acquire high-end, integrated threat simulators for the instrumented ACMI ranges. * Obtain high quality No-Drop Weapons Scoring capability.
