Description
This is an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) requirement for a total Annual Demand Quantity of 60 each under project Number is IQC320009013 for National Stock Number (NSN) 2915-01-129-3707 to procure a Breakaway Valve {41N} for the CH-53 A/D/E Helicopters. Configuration Control Applies. The OEM for this item is Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation CAGE {78286} under part number 65317-08061-101 with one approved source of supply, Spectrum Associates, Inc. {55723} under part number 14161. Unrestricted procedures are utilized under the guidelines of Other than Full and Open Competition in accordance with (10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) FAR 6.302-1). The delivery terms are FOB Destination with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. The solicitation contains a firm fixed price for a 1 year base with an option to extend the contract period an additional 4- (1) one-year term option periods at the best interest of the Government. Variation in quantity is +/- 0%. the required delivery schedulw is 216 Days after receipt of order. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to this procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A copy of this solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the issue date cited in the Request for Proposal (RFP).
