Provide the HQDA with strategic analysis pertaining to security cooperation planning, agreement and policies, while ensuring that Army plans, policies, concepts and doctrine conform to national, DOD, chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff and Army Security policies. Serve as the Army Staff lead in developing and reviewing operational concepts. Assess and coordinate support to the Geographic Combatant Commands. Serve as the principal advisor to the Chief of Staff of the Army on Joint matters, National Security matters and the politico-military aspects of international affairs.
