Description
The U.S. ARMY Armament Research and Development Command- Energetics, Warheads & Manufacturing Directorate at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ is seeking sources for a technical services contract for reconditioning/repair, maintenance, installation and installation support, replacement and refurbishment of equipment, supply parts and material, and technical support for all Industrial Plant Equipment controls in the Industrial Plant Area 200 Area Buildings (as necessary). The contractor must be familiar with the existing one of a kind explosion proof process equipment consisting of 1 liter, 1.5 gallon, 7.5, 10, and 25 gallon melt kettles, LSGT vacuum loading carts, conditioning oven, shell and tube heat exchangers, Allen Bradley control cabinets, B&P mixer, chilling unit, vacuum systems, hydrostatic drive motor, explosion proof cameras, 10 and 25 liter mixers, lab hoods, explosion proof drying and curing ovens, 8 ton, 35 ton and 50 ton hydraulic presses, rotary presses, as well as all auxiliary equipment. The contractor must also warranty their work. This action requires contractor knowledge of working in the unique explosion proof environments of NEC Class 1 Group D and Class 2 Division 1 Group E, F, and G and familiarity with DAPAM 385-100, NJDEP Regulations, and DAPAM 385-64. Interested firms who feel that they are capable of addressing all of the above requirements are invited to indicate their interest by providing to the U.S. Army a detailed summary of their companys capabilities via specifications, brochures, and/or drawings within the time period specified in this notice. Interested firms shall provide their company name, address, point of contact(s), with their telephone number and email address.
