- RECOVERY - REHAB ACCESSIBLE TRAIL, ARRA PROJECT # R6HT, TAS::14 1610::TASTHIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS ISSUED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA).The upcoming soliciation will be posted under full and open procedures in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) has an existing need for removal of the existing gravel trail and adjacent soils as needed, to provide a finished width of 5' and a depth of 6". Install a 4" deep compacted gravel sub-base and a 2" asphalt top course. Replace the existing deck of the 70' boardwalk in its entirety. All work will be performed in accordance with the approved US Fish and Wildlife Service design drawings and specifications. Prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the work area in order to examine the existing site conditions by making arrangements with the Project Leader. Site Visit information will be listed in the solicitation. GENERAL INFORMATION The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The total performance is45 days from the Notice to Proceed. The upcoming solicitation will be using NAICS code 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineered Construction, with a size standard of $33.5M. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on or about 02 Dec 2009 with an anticipated closing date of 05 Jan 2010. Copies of the solicitation, specifications, and drawings can be obtained at http://www.fedbizopps.gov once available for issuance.
