- RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER (This requirement will be solicited as UNRESTRICTED). Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform work for project 538-09-103 entitled Replace Elevators Building 24, 27, 30 and 211 at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio, 45601 as required by drawings and specifications. Work is to be completed within 270 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. NAICS 238290. Plans and specifications will be available this website https://www.fbo.gov/ on or about November 20, 2009. No hard copies will be issued. Estimated cost range is $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. A pre-proposal conference will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 10:00 am local time in Room 121, Building 1, Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, Ohio. All prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers are urged to attend. This will be the only site visit for the project. Proposals are due on October 8, 2009. This procurement is issued as full and open competition. Large business firms are required to submit a subcontracting plan. These requirements were previously announced under solicitation VA-250-09-RP-0267, all further action under this requirement will be posted on the revised/new solicitation number.
