Description
Design Project 557-10-102, Renovate Domiciliary Building 10B. Professional A/E services to prepare construction drawings and specifications, construction estimates, and provide construction period services. This project will design the renovation of Bldg 10B for a domiciliary. The estimated construction budget is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. The area for consideration for this acquisition is restricted to the state of Georgia. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541310. The small business size standard is $4,500,000 in annual gross revenues averaged over the past three years. Interested firms must submit SF 330 with appropriate documentation to Angela White, Contracting Officer, by e-mail at angie.white1@va.gov by 4:30 p.m. on December 14, 2009. Forms are available on the internet at: http://www.gsa.gov/Portal/gsa/ep/formslibrary.do?viewType=DETAIL&formId=21DBF5BF7E860FC185256E13005C6AA6The A/E selection criteria shall include the following elements (a) through (k): (a) Team proposed for this project; (b)Proposed management plan; (c) Previous experience of proposed team; (d) Location and facilities of working offices (e) Proposed design approach (f) Project control (g) Estimating effectiveness (h) Sustainable design (i) Miscellaneous experience and capabilities in the following areas: value engineering, life cycle analysis, CPM, fast-track construction, energy conservation, new energy sources, environmental assessment, specialized experience, CADD and other computer applications; (j) Awards and (k) Insurance and Litigation. This is not a request for proposals. No material will be issued and no solicitation package or bidder/plan holder list will be issued. This procurement is restricted to service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses.
