- THIS PRE-SOLICATION NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND REQUIRED BECAUSE FUNDING PROVIDED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) WILL BE USED FOR THIS EFFORT. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL BE ISSUED TO THE PUBLIC. THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE AWARDED BY ISSUANCE OF A DELIVERY ORDER UNDER AN EXISTING CONTRACT. The Indian Health Service is in the process of designing a new wastewater treatment facility for the Picuris Pueblo and the new facility will consist of the following items: 1.4600 linear feet of 8-inch diameter gravity sewer main from the existing lagoon system to the proposed total retention lagoon system near Puuna Pond. 2.A new high density polyethylene (HDPE) lined total retention lagoon system with a total surface area of approximately 7.25 acres surrounding and encompassing Puuna Pond. 3.Decommissioning the existing 1.5 acre lagoon cell near the Rio Pueblo by breaking the berm to and leaving the first two existing lagoon cells in place in case of an emergency. Also included: 1.Update Environmental Assessment; 2.Update Geotechnical Engineering Report; and 3.Surveying; The magnitude of this construction requirement is less than $100,000. This requirement is for a proposal leading to issuance of a delivery order under a competitively awarded Job Order Contract (JOC) for the Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service. The contractor is Native American Services Corporation (NASCO).
