- This is combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number is 1316589 and solicitation issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-35. Delivery and acceptance will be at Bethesda, Maryland. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) on behalf of National Institute of Aging (NIA) has a requirement for Maintenance Agreement for 3T MRI machine. The Maintenance Agreement has the following requirements: 1) Priority Service Response, 2) Remote Service, 3) Clinical Telephone Support, 4) Service Management Reports, 5) Surface Coil Coverage and 5) Priority Part Delivery. The Period of Performance is December 5, 2009 through December 4, 2010. The provisions at 51.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The provisions at 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items, is applicable. Specific evaluation criteria: (1) Ability to meet technical specification, and (2) Ability to deliver on time and within specification. Offers will also be evaluated on best value in relation to price. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with its offer. Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Item, applies to this acquisition. Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to the acquisition. The quotations are November 19, 2009 3:00PM EST and will be submitted hard copy or electronically to Jasmine Snoddy, Contract Specialist, 31 Center Drive, Bldg. 31, Room 1B59, Bethesda, Maryland 20892.
