- The U.S. Coast Guard Surfaces Forces Logistics Center has a requirement for the overhaul of 2 Shipsets of Ulstein Aquamaster Z-Drive Systems, Model 1350H. 1) NSN 2010-21-920-0899, Left Hand (Port) P/N B8106242-002, Qty 2 each and 2) NSN 2010-21-920-0919, Right Hand (Starboard) P/N B8106262-001, Qty 2 each. Only Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) repalcement parts shall be utilized in the overhaul of these systems. The Government did not procurement technical and engineering data rights to the system; therefore, it is the Government's belief that only the OEM or an authorized repair facility of the OEM possesses the engineering and technical data and capabilities to perform the overhaul, while ensuring the proper form, fit, function and performance of all components. Interested sources that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate their expertise and capability to meet the following requirements: 1. Accomplish the repairs (i.e., component repair procedures for this specific equipment, test fixtures to operate, test, and overhaul); 2. Provide evidence as an authorized repair facility and 3) Provide documentation of satisfactory repair of this equipment for the original equipment manufacturer or the Government and confirmation of the ability to obtain and supply genuine OEM replacement parts. The data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the proposal relative to the requirements. This is not a Request for Proposals (RFP), therefore; no pricing information shall be submitted at this time. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract. It is the Coast Guard ELC’s intention to advertise a solicitation for requirements within 30 days of this Sources Sought notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.203-1 an dHSAM 3006.302-1. For information regarding this acquisition, contact the contracting officials listed herein.
