Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The 3rd Contracting Squadron, Elmendorf AFB, Alaska intends to award a sole source purchase order to Hologic of Bedford, Massachusetts, as a result of the flexibility of operation of the requested product in contrast to the flexibility of comparable items. The capabilities offered by this fluoroscopic unit are exclusively offered by the proprietorship of Fluoroscan, a HOLOGIC company. InSight2- InSight Surgical Mini C-arm Fluoroscopic System, Qty 1 InSight-DICOM-Unity- Unity Extended Connectivity Software, Qty 1 InSight Wireless Foot Switch- Infra-red footswitch for InSight, Qty 1 Insight Printer UP-990AD- Large Format Black and White Hybrid Graphic Printer, Qty 1 InSight2 Bio-Med Training- One week training class, Qty 1 This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.501. The anticipated award date is 16 Nov 09. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is 16 Nov 2009 at 12 pm Alaska Standard Time. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The closing date for this Synopsis is 16 Nov 2009 at 12:00 PM Alaska Standard Time.
