- The Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) Counter-IED Operations Integration Center (COIC), in cooperation with the Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command (RDECOM) Acquisition Center will jointly host a conference with industry on 19 November 2009 to present long range acquisition estimates for JIEDDO-COIC. The conference will be held at the Double Tree Hotel, 300 Army-Navy Drive, Arlington, VA. Garage parking is available at the hotel, and a hotel shuttle bus from the Pentagon City Metro station is available every half hour. A two-hour briefing is planned, commencing at 10 a.m., which will describe the organization and mission of JIEDDO and the COIC, and outline long range acquisition estimates included in the JIEDDO-COIOC Capstone Acquisition Strategy. Attendance is limited to companies with active Top Secret facility clearances and SCI eligibility. No classified information will be discussed at the conference. Attendees must register through https://www.regonline.com/JIEDDO_COIC_Industry by 9 November 2009 in order to attend. Provide the attendees name, phone number, e-mail address, the company represented, and the company CAGE code (the CAGE code will be used to verify company security clearance). Because of space limitations, attendance is limited to one (1) person per company and will be cutoff after the first 175 people.
