- Description
- Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision to Renovate for Inpatient Ward, Project 557-09-101, at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, Dublin, GA, in accordance with drawings and specifications. Contractor shall renovate Building 15B for an acute care ward as required by drawings and specifications. Project includes converting existing call center into private rooms with individual toilet facilities. The adjacent areas shall remain operational during 15B construction. Related work associated with this project includes upgrades and modifications to utility systems, new mechanical equipment, exterior masonry screen walls, building equipment, finishes, and support spaces. Work also includes minor repairs and renovations required to phase the work. Work shall be performed to facilitate continued patient care in adjacent areas (13B). Cost range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. NAICS Code 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and size standard $33.5 million applies. The solicitation package and drawings should be available for download on or about 11/23/09. No hard copies of the solicitation or drawings will be provided. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by DVA. A pre-bid site visit will be held December 8, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at Building 29, Engineering Conference Room, at the medical center.This is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside.
