- Amendment A02 Solicitation 512582-09-A-0009 Advance Metering and Controls, Various Project Throughout the United States. Amendment No. 02 Includes revised and additional information: For the purposes of this solicitation, the Supplier is to assume, that for any given USPS site, anywhere from two (2) to nine (9) Roof Top Units (RTU) may be monitored and controlled. In addition, the electric, water, and gas main utilities are to be monitored for consumption and the other related parameters listed in Attachment 1. This information is to be collected, trended, and stored and made accessible to the USPS via an RJ-45 ethernet connection communicating in certified BACnet protocol. Naming conventions and communications shall conform to the USPS outline specification titled “BAS Communication to Remote Enterprise Server” in Amendment 1. One (1) basic system is to contain the following elements, subject to the specific requirements identified in Attachment 1: Electric, water, and gas monitoring: - Single Roof Top Unit (RTU) monitoring - Supply air temperature - Compressor Load and Runtime - Pressure Drop across filters - Humidity - CO2 - Thermostat with manual override by occupant of +/-2o w/1 hour automatic reset - BACnet output to EEMS For the purposes of this solicitation, Supplier is to configure the cost for monitoring and controlling a system consisting of four (4) RTU’s plus monitoring electric, water, and gas. Supplier is to provide the deduct costs for removing the monitoring of water and gas from the basic system, as well as any of the digital/analog monitoring functions listed above. Control functions for temperature setpoints/setbacks, scheduling, and alarming conditions shall be included with the system. All other system requirements apply as identified in Attachment 1. Based on the above, the following changes are made to the Solicitation. The Proposal due date remains November 13, 2009 3:00PM EST.
