- Description
- The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), NIH intends to negotiate on a competitive basis the Coordinating Center for the National Registry of Genetically Triggered Thoracic Aortic Aneurysms and Cardiovascular Conditions (GenTAC) – Data Coordinating Center – Renewal. The cited authority is 41 U.S.C. 253, as set forth in FAR 6.101-(b). This effort will be a six year continuation in the managing of a registry of participants with conditions related to genetically-induced thoracic aortic aneurysms (TAAs). The current contractor has been managing and coordinating activities for five Regional Clinical Centers (RCCs) in collecting biospecimens of patients with conditions related to genetically-induced TAAs. The objectives of the study are detailed below.
