Description
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Seeks Expressions of Interest forParking Spaces in Indianapolis, IN The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to lease a total of 500 surface parking spaces for use by Veterans (patients) and VA staff traveling to and from the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center located at 1481 West 10th Street, Indianapolis IN 46202. The lease term shall be for a firm term of five years and one five-year option. VA will consider sites that offer a minimum of 200 spaces and reserves the right to award multiple leases under this procurement. The surface parking spaces shall be provided within the delineated area identified below. The proposed location must be properly zoned to allow for commuter/commercial parking. The VAMC will provide shuttle service to and from the parking location and the Medical Center as well as security (guard) service for the site. Structured or enclosed parking is not required, but will be given consideration. Surface parking must be paved, and lighted. More specific requirements will be identified in the Solicitation for Offers. Delineated Area: Parking must be located within the delineated area identified below as bounded by the following streets: a.North 38th Street b.South Raymond Street c.East College Avenue (North and South as continuous line to its terminus at Virginia Ave.), and then continuing South on an imaginary line to Raymond St. d.West Interstate 465 on the West side of the City of Indianapolis, Indiana Properties abutting and adjacent to the boundary shall be considered to be within the delineated area. Expressions of Interest Should Include: 1. Site plan of the parking location and its address 2. Total number of parking spaces being offered. 3. Annual rate per space 4. Date by which the parking would be available for lease 5. Current condition of the parking (for example, paved, lighted) Note: The government will pay no more than the appraised fair market rental value for parking spaces. Respondents are advised that the VA assumes no responsibility to award a lease based upon responses to this advertisement.
