Description
Expression of Interest Sought The United States Government, US Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Henrietta, Texas, that will be expiring. The Government is seeking to lease approximately 2,933 square feet of contiguous, first class, high quality office space. The rentable space must yield a minimum of 2,218 contiguous ANSI/BOMA (usable) office area square feet (OASF) and 35 on-site surface parking spaces. The lease term requirement is for five (5) years with one five-year renewal option. To be considered, the office location must be within the boundaries of: Spring Street to the North; California Street to the East; Bois D’Arc Street to the South; and Crockett Street to the West; in Henrietta, Texas. Preference will be given to first floor space. Occupancy is required by March 1, 2010. All expressions of interests must be received by December 4, 2009. The Government will consider alternative space if economically advantageous. The Government will use the information it receives in response to this advertisement as basis to develop a cost-benefit analysis and to determine whether to compete the lease requirement or pursue a sole source justification to remain at its current location. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. Please submit expressions of interest to Lana Wood by phone: 979/680-5252, email: lana.wood@tx.usda.gov, fax: 979/693-5418, or by US mail at the following address: Texas Farm Service Agency, 2405 Texas Ave South, College Station, Texas, Attention: Lana Wood.
