Description

FOR INFORMATION ONLY -- AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT PROJECT The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) Contracting and General Services office in Portland, Oregon, is supporting a requirement for the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge located in Adak, Alaska, to replace an existing Flammable/HAZMAT storage unit with a 9'x20' prefabricated containment building rated equivalent to U.S. HAZMAT Chemical Storage Fireloc or similar in accordance with the Statement of Work. A competitive solicitation, RFQ No. 70181RQ004 including all attachments, will be issued via GSA eBuy within approximately 5 days of this pre-solicitation notice and will only be available electronically through https://www.ebuy.gsa.gov/. The solicitation response date (which has not currently been determined) will be at 3:00 PM (PST). No further notice will be posted on FedBiz Opps. FWS intends to award a single delivery order from an existing GSA Schedule under Special Item Numbers: 361 10A Pre-Engineered and Prefabricated Buildings and Structures for Storage Solutions; 361 30 Ancillary Services relating to Pre-Engineered/Prefabricated Buildings and Structures; and 361 32 Installation and Site Preparation for Pre-Engineered/Prefabricated Buildings and Structures. Minor aspects of this requirement may be acquired on an open market basis as deemed appropriate at the unilateral discrection of FWS. Estimated delivery (project completion) date is 300 days from delivery order award date.
