Description

THIS IS AN INFORMATIONAL PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. ACTUAL RFP TO BE POSTED APPROXIMATELY NOV 19, 2009. PLEASE DO NOT ASK QUESTIONS NOR REQUEST MORE INFORMATION UNTIL THE ACTUAL RFP IS POSTED. THANK YOU. Interior work shall consist of removal of existing chilled water piping, chillers, and water pumps in the basement level mechanical room. Demolition work shall comply with GSA Construction Waste Management requirements. New construction shall include the installation of new pumps, chilled water piping and related valves, installation of new supporting electrical equipment including disconnects, wiring, conduit, and patching of existing architectural finishes. Exterior work shall consist of the removal of existing cooling tower units and piping, related electrical and steel support platform framing. New construction shall include the installation of new piping, steel support platform framing and patching of existing single-ply membrane roofing system.
