- SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE USED BY THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION DECISIONS. A SUBSEQUENT SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT MAY FOLLOW. RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AS AN ADEQUATE RESPONSE TO ANY FUTURE ANNOUNCEMENT. The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks (VHSO), Fayetteville, Arkansas is interested in identifying sources to provide hemodialysis equipment and services to veteran inpatients of the VHSO. The VHSO seeks source(s) to provide the appropriate hemodialysis equipment, to be kept on VHSO property, and to provide on-call professional staff services 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, with a 6 hour or less response time following a request for services. Those wishing to identify their capability to provide the afore-mentioned service should respond to this announcement via email to laura.watts@va.gov no later than November 6, 2009, 3:00pm central time. Interested parties should provide the following: Company Name, Company Address, Point of Contact, POC phone number/email address, and DUNS number. THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION, OR "SOURCES SOUGHT," SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR OFFERS. INFORMATION IS TO BE PROVIDED ON A VOLUNTARY BASIS. NO ENTITLEMENT TO PAYMENT OF DIRECT OR INDIRECT COSTS OR CHARGES INCLUDING POSTAGE AND SHIPPING WILL ARISE AS A RESULT OF THE SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly.
