Description

Sole Source Justification This is a sole source requirement in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Justification: Supplies required are under the simplified acquisition threshold and are available from only one responsible source; no other type of supplies will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed source is R.S. MEANS, Construction Plaza, 63 Smiths Lane, Kingston, MA 02364-0800. The supply being procured is Costworks 2010, an online database subscription with a period of performance, 15 Jan 2010 to 14 Jan 2011. See the attached Sole Source Justification. NAICS: 519130 FSC: 7610 This synopsis is being published for information purposes only. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, the government will consider any quotations received within 10 days of issuance of this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All quotations/questions should be e-mailed to Charles.Kindermann@wpafb.af.mil no later than 4PM on 13 Nov 2009.
