Description
Work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, equipment, and perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work as shown on the drawings, specified in the scope of work, or as needed to Replace Heat Exchanges and Water Heaters in Buildings 67, 44 and 77 at the Boise VA Medical Center. The work shall be fully completed in accordance with the contract documents. A site vist will be scheduled and included in the solicitation. This acquisition is a 100% Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238220 with a size standard of $14M. This contract will be a Lowest Price-Technically Acceptable award will be made based on the "Best Value" to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.101. Performance period is 150 calendar days. The estimated magnitude for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. Prospective contractors must be registered in the VetBiz as a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) and Central Contractor Registration Database prior to award of a government contract. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government. The solicitation will be issued on or about 6 November 2009. A Site Visit has been scheduled for 16 November 2009, see the solicitation for details. This solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov.
