- RECOVERYThis project will be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and is subject to the reporting requirements of the action. In addition to the normal FAR clauses the following clauses apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.203-15 Whistleblower Protection, FAR 52.204-11 ARRA Reporting Requirements, FAR 52.225-21 Required Use of American Iron, Steel, and Other Manufactured Goods-Buy American Act-Construction Materials, FAR 52.225-22 Notice of Required Use of American Iron, Steel, and Other Manufactured Goods-Buy American Act-Construction Materials. The National Park Service will issue an Invitation For Bid on or about 17 November 2009 to repair, rehabilitate and paint historic structures at Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site in Elverson, Pa. The work of the project is to repair, rehabilitate and paint historic structures. Work includes exterior and interior painting, replacement of deteriorated doors and windows, concrete repair and patching, slate roof repair. Work will include an Option item to replace gutters, hangers and downspouts. This will be solicitated as an Invitation for Bid (IFB), unrestricted with an evaluation preference for a certified HUB Zone in accordance with FAR 52.219-4. The Estimated dollar amount is between $100,000 and $250,000. The estimated time for completion is 210 calendar days from the date of the date of Award. NAISC code 238160, size $14M. Award will be made to the responsive responsible contractor providing the lowest price. Contractor awarded this contract will need to be listed on the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov and have a current active registration. All information will be posted in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about 17 November 2009. This solicitation will be issued electronically (paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available) on the Department of Interior's National Business Center (NBC) website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Solicitation documents will be available in Microsoft Word, HTML, TIFF and Adobe PDF formats. Contractors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http//ideasec.nbc.gov.
