Description
This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation, an obligation, or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research purposes. The U.S. Military Academy West Point, NY is seeking sources capable of furnishing all supervision, labor, tools, vehicles, materials, quality control, and equipment for the remediation of asbestos at the United States Military Academy (USMA) West Point, NY and outlying areas. Services include proper pre-cleaning, abatement site containment, the proper removal of all asbestos materials and materials contaminated with asbestos, decontamination, final cleaning, encapsulation and disposal of all waste. At the completion of the asbestos abatement the surfaces shall be dry and visibly free of contamination and debris. The area(s) shall also be clean and free of debris, encapsulated, pass final visual inspection and air clearance and ready for occupancy or additional repair work. All asbestos abatement work must comply with the requirements of the EPA, OSHA, NYDOL, USMA and any other local, state and federal requirements governing proper asbestos abatement and disposal procedures. Interested sources are requested to submit a package delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing these services. Sources must sufficiently demonstrate the capability to perform these services and must provide detailed experience and qualifications in all previous work pertinent to this effort. Please include your business size with your submittal. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 562910 and the small business size standard is $14 million. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to Patti.Fay-Crosbie@usma.edu.
