- This is a section of a HMMWV manual with figures 318 and 319 depicting pieces of the kits requesting information on. There are also part numbers for each item within each kit for further clarification if needed. This Sources Sought Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational purposes to locate capable business concerns. The Air Force is conducting market research and desires input from industry to assist in requirements planning. The information requested by this synopsis will be used within the Air Force to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. Please note: The Air Force will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. Headquarters Air Mobility Command (AMC) is interested in the identification of capable sources to provide Troop Seat Kits, Rail Kits, and Cover Kits, for use on the M1097 2 man crew HMMWV. Below are the three components. The first two are required for the third (Cover Kit) to be used for covering the cargo area of the HMMWV. Components numbered ‘2.' And ‘3.' are the contents of an entire kit as NSN 2540-01-329-8073. Ability to provide this kit would suffice for capability to provide components ‘2.' and ‘3.' COMPONENTS: 1. Troop Seat Kit - NSN: 2540-01-185-3216 2. Rail Kit - NSN: 2540-01-200-6611 NSN: 2540-01-199-6760 NSN: 2540-01-199-6761 3. Cover Kit Cargo Area - NSN: 2540-01-330-6169 ATTACHMENT: There will be a four page.pdf document of a HMMWV manual that showcases these parts in figures 318 and 319. (See Attachment) The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336399. Small Business size is 750 employees for said NAICS Code. Submission Information: Response by e-mail is required and should be forwarded to Thomas Jaeger, at Thomas.Jaeger@scott.af.mil Responses must be received by this office at or before 5:00 pm CST on 04 Nov 2009. This request for information is not a commercial solicitation and the Government will not pay for any information submitted or for any costs associated with providing the information.
