Description
RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBERS: John J. Kirlin Special Projects, LLC, W91278-08-D-0055 or W912DY-08-D-0023; Syska Hennessy Group Construction Inc., W91278-08-D-0056 or W912DY-08-D-0021; J and J Maintenance, Inc., W91278-08-D-0057 or W912DY-08-D-0024; Linc Government Services, LLC, W91278-08-D-0058 or W912DY-08-D-0022 under the Facilities Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization Defense-Wide: Tricare Management Activity (TMA) Program. This Recovery Act approved project, Modernize Lois E Wells Clinic, Fort AP Hill, VA, is to complete a Scoping Survey and Report, prepare a Type III Work Plan, and complete the Construction and Repair requirements for Building 1650 the Lois E. Wells Army Health Clinic. This project will entail construction of an approximately 1,800 square foot addition along with mechanical and electrical infrastructure repairs, and ADA compliance repairs to an existing building approximately 3400 square foot, constructed in 1975. Work required in this task order is needed in order to ensure the provision of health services can be adequately provided for the next 20 years. The existing clinic will need to remain open during the project with minimal impact to patient care and limited reliance on transition space, so phasing of the project with limited alterations to the existing space will be required. The contractor will be responsible for providing some limited transition space in the form of trailer/temporary restroom facilities during the renovation of the existing restrooms. POC: Cynthia Y. Dunham, Contracting Officer, US Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, Mobile, AL 36602.
