Description
RECOVERY POMPEYS PILLAR ENERGY IMPROVEMENT LXABH0700000. THIS PROJECT IS FUNDED FROM THE AMERICAN RECOVERY REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) OF 2009The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to award a Purchase Order install a LP gas fired condensing boiler into the existing building ground source heating loop. This work will require the modification of the existing digital control system. The new modular boiler shall be a fully modulating condensing boiler system with associated dedicated boiler pump. Work shall include providing and installing a LP gas distribution system and boiler stack. Work is located in Yellowstone County, Montana. The work site is at the Pompeys Pillar Visitor Center. The Solicitation is tentatively scheduled to be available on or around November 12, 2009 at https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued. The receipt of quotes is tentatively scheduled for December 14, 2009. All reasonable sources may submit a quote. Please check the solicitation for all required documentation to be submitted. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 238220. The small business standard is $14 million. This procurement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part and 13 and is being advertised as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Offers will be accepted from responsive and responsible small business concerns. Please be advised that the awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act, which requires that each prime contractor, and first tier subcontractors, report on its Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract. These reports will be made available to the public. For more information go to www.recovery.gov. Prospective contractors are required to be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
