Description

The work consists of clearing and grubbing of trees; degrading of an existing sand levee and construction of a seepage berm; removal of existing sand, granular material, and shot rock from an existing temporary levee; excavation to create a notch in the Iowa River bankline; placement of sand on an existing seepage berm; placement of granular material and shot rock along the Iowa River bankline; and placement of new stone protection (bedding stone and riprap) on an existing levee.
