Description

THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY REQUIREMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS PROVIDED BY THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009, PUBLIC LAW 111-5. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR HOLDING THE TASK ORDER BEING MODIFIED. The U. S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to increase task order EA1330-09-NC-2086 by $81,666.00 from $79,890.16 to $161,556.16. The increase is needed as the level of effort originally anticipated is greater in the area of Integrated ARRA Project Plan Development. The task order's period of performance remains unchanged. A Time and Materials approach remains the most appropriate method of obtaining the original as well as increased level of effort on this task order as it is not possible to accurately estimate the exact extent or duration of Project Management and Schedule Management, particuarly as it pertains to ARRA Project Plan Development or to anticipate costs with any degree of certainty because it is not known what exact processes will be employed to execute the ARRA project management requirements of the task order.
