- Description
- The Earth Observing System (EOS) is a focal point of NASA's Earth Scienceenterprise, designed to further the understanding of global climate change by providing aglobal observing system and a comprehensive range of measurements. The TroposhericEmission Spectrometer (TES) is a major "Principal Investigator" experiment on the EOSAura Mission launched in July 2004. Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) has overallresponsibility for the TES instrument and experiment. NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center(GSFC) has overall responsibility for the Aura mission.
