- RM09-1392 AND RM09-1393, WHOLD BACHELOR QUARTERS MODERNIZATION, BUILDINGS 783 AND 787, PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER: BEQ II MACC GROUP 0040: SOLTEK PACIFIC N62473-06-D-1058 AND DOUGLAS E. BARNHART, INC. N62473-06-D-1059 This project is to renovate and repair two existing seven-story Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ's) Building 787 (111,644 sq ft) and Building 783 (103,740 sq ft). Both buildings contain mold and may contain hazardous materials such as asbestos and lead based paint. Contractor shall perform a hazardous materials survey to identify materials that may contain asbestos or lead. Mold and other hazardous materials shall be removed as appropriate. Elevators, interior finishes, doors, flooring, showers, sinks, and fixtures shall be restored. Exterior building repairs shall include the roof, exterior paint, exterior doors, and window screens. Mechanical repairs shall include plumbing, HVAC, boilers, water tanks, and fan coil units. Electrical repairs shall include switch gear, receptacles, switches, interior and exterior lighting, and associated wiring.
