- The NF/SG Veterans Health Care System intends to negotiate on a sole source basis for full maintenance and repair services of a Siemens X-ray Console System with The Fujifilm diagnostic imaging equipment Fuji Medical Systems USA, 419 West Ave, Stamford CT 06902, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other vendor will satisfy agency requirements. Fuji Medical Systems USA is the only known source that can provide this specific service. Services to include periodic preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and emergency call back repair. Simplified acquisition procedures will be used and the resulting contract will be firm fixed price. The base period of performance will be from December 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010, with four one-year option periods. The equipment is located at the NF/SG Gainesville FL 32608. The applicable NAICS is 811219. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any vendor that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within ten (10) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. The Service contract will provide service for the following equipment: Velocity U 76520033, Velocity T 76520011, Flash IIP 2T43JC1, GENERATOR w/OTC 3668, Seimens X- ray console 3467, X-Ray Tube Housing 1227, X-Ray Tube Insert 43869, Polydoros Gen IT 4235, and Seimens ZE cabinet 1087. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Cost associated with the preparation and submission of information and/or any follow-up information requests are the responsibility of the vendor and these costs will not be reimbursed by the Government. Contractors shall be actively registered in the CCR database to be eligible for award. Information on CCR is available at www.ccr.gov.
