- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a requirement for an instructor lead, on-site Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) Training, for a minimum of 35 employees up to 80, over a three year time period. Training shall include training materials and instruction, in all five modules at the MMAC, in accordance but not limited to the following: The contractor will provide in-house training in the Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) program. The contractor will provide the appropriate personnel to instruct in the five modules. Each module will include materials (listed below) and 24 hours of instruction. Each module will be presented over three consecutive days (24 hours of instruction) for a total of 120 hours for five modules. The FAA will guarantee a minimum of 10 students per class and limit the class size to 20. The contractor will provide three sessions for each module. The CPIM Modules and materials are: 1) Basics of Supply Chain Management, includes APICS dictionary, participant guide for BSCM, Introduction to Materials Management. 2) Master Planning of Resources, includes participant guide 3) Detailed Scheduling and Planning, includes participant guide 4) Execution and Control of Operations, includes participant guide 5) Strategic Management of Resources, includes participant guide Classes for each module will be scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Responses to this market survey will be used to develop the source list for this requirement. Interested vendors should respond with the following:1.Documentation that clearly demonstrates that the interested vendor is capable of fulfilling the requirement. (The format of the documentation is at the discretion of the vendor) 2.Complete and return the attached Business Declaration Form. The form is provided as a separate document under this announcement. The market survey is not to be construed as a screening information request (SIR), nor request for offer (RFO). As such, the FAA will not accept unsolicited proposals and will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing responses to this market survey. Any proprietary information should be so marked. Responders to this announcement may be asked to provide additional details/information based on their initial response. All responses should clearly be labeled DTFAAC-10-R-00285. Vendors must respond by 2:00 p.m. (CST), October 30, 2009. Responses should be submitted electronically in either a portable document format (ie. *.pdf file) or Microsoft Word to: barbara.smith@faa.gov. FAA will not respond to telephonic inquiries. Note: Any contract awarded resulting from this survey will contain the AMS Clause 3.3.1-33 Central Contractor Registration (April 2006). Award cannot be made to a vendor that has not accomplished this registration.
