Description
Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to extend Task Orders 0009 and 0003 for Contract N00019-08-D-0013 under the authority of FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services (NOV 1999). The subject Task Orders were issued to McDonnell Douglas Corporation (Boeing), Integrated Defense Systems, St. Louis, MO. The resultant modification(s) to the above Task Orders will be Firm-Fixed-Price for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), Intelligence Reconnaissance Surveillance (ISR) services for an extension of six (6) months. These Task Orders will support military detachments and training operations located in OCONUS and CONUS. These orders are required in order to prevent a break in service of critical ISR requirements in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis is published for information purposes only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). Boeing currently is in theater supporting the above operations. Under FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source, Boeing is the only source who can fulfill mission critical requirements without significant delays to the schedule and duplication of costs. Subcontracting opportunities should be sought directly from Boeing. IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR INTERESTED PARTIES: There are no commitments by the government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract. No telephone responses will be accepted.
