Description
This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/synopcom.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. This requirement will be a commercial, competitive, five year IDIQ contract for the procurement of a Programmable Logic Device, Altera P/N EPM7256SRI208-10 or Equivalent, Drawing #3738AS192. This item is an integrated circuit utilized on IFLPS(Improved Flight-line Payload Simulator). The circuit card drives the display on the monitor and controls system functions. The circuit card is a tester for the Countermeasures Dispensing System. The Countermeasures Dispensing System supports multiple aircraft platforms, which includes, but not limited to the EA-6B, EA-18, and the ALE-47 aircraft. The solicitation will be available on or about 27 Oct 2009 at FedBizOpps located at http://www.fbo.gov and at NECO located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. It is the responsibility of interested offerors to monitor FedBizOpps and/or NECO for any additional amendments that may be issued. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation. Submitting a bid from the NECO website by clicking on "Submit Bid" does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format.
