Export Control Required. First Article Contractor Test Required. This requirement is a competitive requirement for the Noun, Synchronizing Ring. Qualification Requirements apply. The government contemplates awarding a firm fixed price requirements type contract for a one (1) year basic contract with two (2) one (1) year option periods. The line items are identified as follows: 0001 Contractor First Article, one to be expended in accordance with DD Form 260. Item 0002: Synchronizing Ring. Item 0003: Contractor First Article Data in Accordance with DD Form 1423. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 10 Nov 09. The anticipated award will be 30 Jan 2010. AMC/AMSC: 1C. History: Last procurement: 3 Nov 2008 (1J4P3) Delivery Schedule: 30 each per month beginning 29 Oct 2010. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT REQUIRED TO DELAY CONTRACT AWARD TO REVIEW PENDING SOURCE APPROVAL REQUESTS (SARs). It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with approved firm (s). NOTE: An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
