- Furnish competent surveying resources to properly layout the subject sites and provide horizontal and vertical control. Demolition and remove VASI and replace with PAPI system for runway 31L at Padre Island International Airport, Brownsville, Texas. Instillation of PAPI facilities, include: Furnish and install reinforced concrete foundations and concrete pads around PAPI equipment.Furnish and install Earth Electrode System (EES)Furnish and install conduit and cablingFurnish and install concrete and crushed rock surface access roads, turn around for driveways to facility and walkwaysFurnish and install GFM Government Furnish material PAPI systemTrench and install power cable in armored HDPE duct from existing step-down transformers to the PAPI power and control racks TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. ESTIMATE PRICE RANGE: Between $100,000 and $150,000. To be considered for award of this project the contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base (website www.ccr.gov). The request must include the company name, point of contact, address, phone and fax number.This Notice is for information purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
