Description
NASA/JSC is seeking capabilities from small businesses, small disadvantagedbusinesses, women-owned small businesses, Historically Underutilized Business Zones(HUBZones), veteran-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned smallbusinesses, and Historically Black Colleges and Universities/Minority Institutions(HBCUs/MIs) for the purpose of determining the appropriate level of small businesssubcontracting goals for support services in support of Shuttle Training Aircraftconsisting of four modified Gulfstream aircraft. These are one-of-a-kind aircraft thatsimulate the Shuttle Orbiter flight and handling characteristics during the descent phaseto touchdown. These services will provide engineering and technical support for astronauttraining in a high fidelity airborne simulation of the Space Shuttle flight missionlanding phase. This procurement is a non-competitive procurement. No solicitation exists; therefore, donot request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will besynopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service. It is thepotential offerors responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of anysolicitation or synopsis. Responses must include the following: name and address of firm, size of business; averageannual revenue for past 3 years and number of employees; ownership; whether they arelarge, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, and/or woman-owned; number of years inbusiness; affiliate information: parent company, joint venture partners, potentialteaming partners, prime contractor (if potential sub) or subcontractors (if potentialprime); list of customers covering the past five years (highlight relevant workperformed, contract numbers, contract type, dollar value of each procurement; and pointof contact - address and phone number). The Government reserves the right to consider a small business or 8(a) set-aside based onresponses hereto.
